The Med-Red Rally, the International Yacht Rally to the Red Sea, now entering it’s 4th year has already become a traditional event.

It is well known among sailors Israel and around the world who participate in this very special sailing rally.

Med Red Rally 2008 starts at the beginning of May.

Prior to the beginning of the rally all foreign yachts joining will sail together from Finike ,

Turkey on the 1st of May to the Herzeliya Marina, Israel, in time to join the special Yom Ha’atzmaout (Israel Independence Day) sailing event.

The yachts will spend a few days in Israel before the grand start of the rally from the Tel Aviv Marina.

On May 11th the rally will set sail from Tel Aviv to Port Said, Egypt, through the Suez Canal to Hurghada, Sharm el Sheikh and back to Herzeliya Marina.

All yachts will spend a week at the Herzeliya Marina with the option of tours to Jerusalem, the Dead Sea, Nazareth and the Sea of Galilee.

After a week in Israel, on the 6th June the rally will continue to Turkey sailing along the Turkish coast till Marmaris.
