or the seventh year in a row, the Jerusalem Arts Festival (http://www.arts-festival.jerusalem.muni.il/alle.htm) is a seven-day festival of theatre, music and dance. 26 performances between March 26 and April 1 at various venues throughout the city, opening with a gala premiere of David’s Harp - an oratorio with 80 musicians and 100 singers by Prof. Eitan Avitzur. Also, a jazz performance will be dedicated to film themes, Crystal Slippers - a ballet for the entire family, Tech the High Train - a unique cooperation between jazz musicians and high-tech workers, falling in love with Jerusalem - a walking concert through the city’s alleys, Fiddler on the roof, of course, and much, much more.
On March 27, the Jerusalem International Half Marathon

starts at the Givat Ram stadium.
Beit Avihai hosts visiting Israeli Jazz pianist Liz Magnes (http://www.lizmagnes.com) on March 17, an evening dedicated to R. Shlomo Karlibach on the 19th and the Jewish liturgical poetry festival on March 31 till April 3. Beit Avihai also continues its regular lines of original Jewish music on Saturday nights.
Dance at the Zira continues with choreographers Michal Herman and Nadar Rosano on the 10th at 9pm. High Tide is an adult puppet theatre performance on the 11th at 9pm. On the 12th, Noa Erez and Noa Shador perform video-dance works - Performance Hall, It’ll End in Tears and Give Me a Break.
The Lab hosts concerts with Yoni Rechter on the 22nd, Ehud Banai on the 27th and Shalom Hanoch on the 29th. The in-house episodic dance production Sun Nexus will be performed on the 26th at 9pm.
Finally, the Bible Lands Museum (http://212.199.160.128/jerusalem/fullarticle-en.asp?xml=1117.xml&mail=#email) offers us a concert with internationally renowned Jazz pianist Laurent Assoulen on tour from France on the 15th, the Opera in the Morning concert Series with the Rubin Academy of Music on Fridays the 28th at 10:30 - this time a Hot Slavic Winter - The Passion of Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninoff and more; and on April 11, Sublime Mozart - Le nozze di Figaro, Cosi fan tutte, Don Giovanni and more.
